Course:
Chainsaw Maintenance, Cross Cutting & Felling Small Trees up to 380mm (CS30 & CS31) Refresher
This is a two day training, is a refresher course for professional chainsaw users who already hold a certificate (CS30/31). It is registered with Lantra. The first day of training starts here at One Ash Farm before moving to woodlands in the Northwest.
The course refreshes users knowledge of health and safety rules and regulations and maintenance tips and tricks before moving on to practical skills including; felling trees (up to 380mm diameter); taking down hung-up trees; de-limbing felled trees and cross cutting and stacking timber.
The course costs £350 + VAT per person. Bookings for this course include:
- Workbook & pen
- Loan of PPE if required
- Filing kit to take home
- Lantra registration & certification
You will also need a chainsaw for this course which is around a 50cc engine with a 15” bar and semi chisel chain. Equipment hire is available, for more information click here.
Candidates must already hold a CS30/31 Qualification, and will be asked to provide proof on booking.
