Level 2 Award

Rodent Management

This is a one day course registered with Lantra. It is a requirement for anybody who wishes to buy professional rodenticide, and for those managing rodent (rat and mice) control in domestic, agricultural and business settings.

The course covers relevant legislation, the functions of integrated pest management, the biology and behaviour of a range of rodents, infestation surveys, application and management of eradication campaigns, risk hierarchy for control, and ongoing monitoring for prevention.

The course concludes with an online assessment.

Level 2 Award

Rodent Management (Online)

This is a online e-learning course from Lantra, which takes approximately 6 hours to complete.

The course covers relevant legislation, the functions of integrated pest management, the biology and behaviour of a range of rodents, infestation surveys, application and management of eradication campaigns, risk hierarchy for control, and ongoing monitoring for prevention.

You will need a computer with access to a webcam, microphone and screen sharing to complete the assessment. We can also offer this as an assessment only option, please get in touch to discuss.

Bed Bug Control

This is a online e-learning course from Lantra, which takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

This Bed Bug Control e-learning course is designed to help people carry out effective bed bug control and management. The course will give the learner a full working knowledge of both the biology and behaviour of the insects, their habitats and reasons  for their control. The course will highlight some of the issues with bed bug control.

On completion a certificate is available to download.

Wasp & Bee Control

This is a online e-learning course from Lantra, which takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

The course gives the leaner a full working knowledge of both biology and behaviour of the insects, their habitats and environments and reasons for control. This course aims to highlight the associated risks with their control and to give learners an understanding of the positive impacts of wasps and bees.

On completion a certificate is available to download.

Rabbit & Mole Control (Trapping Techniques)

This is a one day course registered with Lantra. The course covers the identification of rabbits and/or moles and typical symptoms of damaged caused, measuring the degree of infestation and identification of the source. The course also covers legal obligations, planning, implementing and monitoring effective control programmes using the most appropriate methods and ensuring the safeguarding of humans and other animals and plants.
