Animal Transport by Road (short journeys) is a level 2 qualification from Lantra. It is run as an e-learning course which consists of one core module and additional specialist modules in birds*, cattle, goats, horses, pigs and sheep.
The course is aimed at learners who transport farm animals, horses or birds* over 65km on short road journeys of up to and including eight hours, as either a driver or attendant.
Animal Transport by Road (short journeys) costs £140 + VAT per person, which includes registration and certification from Lantra.
This is also available as an assessment only option. You will need a computer with access to a webcam, microphone and screen sharing to complete the assessment. Alternatively the assessment can be completed at One Ash Farm. Give us a call to discuss your options.
