Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus is a one day Integrated Training and Assessment (ITA) course, registered with Lantra. The course focuses on the use of Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT) & Genny to improve safety on site. It will specifically cover:
- Safe working practices
- Identification of utilities apparatus and highways services encountered during excavation
- The advantages and limitations of equipment
- Preparing equipment for use, and safely operating it
- Demarcation of apparatus and services when identified
The course costs £240 + VAT per person. Bookings for this course include:
