+F First Aid is a half day course, during which learners will recognise common risks to forestry workers and learn how to administer First Aid accordingly, including dealing with catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries, tick bites, heat stroke and hypothermia. It is not only useful for people working in forestry, but a wide range of outdoor roles.
The +F course from Lantra has been developed to comply with the Forestry Commission +F as per the First Aid at Work – Forestry Commission Policy and in consultation with Forestry Industry Safety Accord (FISA).
You need to hold an in-date first aid certificate to do the +F stand alone course. If you don’t have one, consider the Emergency First Aid at Work + F or First Aid at Work +F courses. You can click here for a full description of all the first aid courses we offer.
The course costs £90 + VAT per person. Bookings include:
- Workbook & pen
- Practice equipment
- Lantra registration & certification
