This is a two day requalification for the First Aid at Work +F (FAW +F) course.
First Aid at Work +F is aimed at those working in higher risk environments, or with larger groups of people. It is not only useful for people working in forestry, but a wide range of outdoor roles.
The course covers CPR and use of a defibrillator, causes of unconsciousness and recovery position, choking, bleeding and shock (like EFAW), then goes on to cover injuries to bones, muscles and joints, burns and scalds, and illnesses including asthma, diabetes and epilepsy. In addition, this course recaps the content of the +F course; catastrophic bleeding, crush injuries, tick bites, heat stroke and hypothermia. Please let us know if you’d like the full list of topics
Please note, you must have a current First Aid at Work +F certificate to undertake the requalification. If you need an initial certificate, please click here for options.
