General welding is a three day training course from One Ash Training. Ideal for those wishing to carry out general repairs. Learners will cover basic MIG and MMA (stick) welding.
We never book more than 3 learners onto this course.
General welding will cover health and safety requirements and encourage learners to work in a systematic method, with full regard for safety and environmental factors. They will also cover the safe, routine maintenance of equipment, learn how to carry out pre-work checks and adjust equipment for effective operation.
Learners must hold an abrasive wheels certificate before attending this course. Learners must provide their own fire resistant coveralls, all other PPE is provided.
