It is a short course is for anyone who is thinking about getting their first dog. The course will guide you through how to choose the right breed for your lifestyle, how to buy or adopt safely and responsibly, how to prepare for the arrival of your new puppy and what you can expect and what you need to do in the first year.
You will also learn about basic puppy care, including what to feed your puppy and how to manage their weight, your puppy’s training needs and how to find a dog trainer, and what to do if you experience problem behaviour with your new puppy.
