Hand Held Stem Injection, previously known as “Pesticide Application – Stem Injection” or PA6INJ, is a one day Lantra accredited, attendance based training course, with separate assessment. Successful completion of the assessment results in the Level 2 Award in the Safe Operation of Hand Held Pesticide Stem Injection Equipment qualification.
Stem injection is usually used for the treatment of Japanese Knotweed, among other weeds.
The course costs £140 + VAT per person plus Lantra Assessment fees of £105 + VAT.
We supply all the materials necessary for training, except wellington boots which learners should supply. Hire of wellingtons can be arranged if necessary. Lunch is provided on the training day.
Candidates must already hold or be taking PA1, and will be asked to provide proof on booking. A full explanation of pesticide qualifications can be found here.
