Health & Safety in Agriculture & Horticulture is a one day course registered with Lantra, resulting in a certificate of attendance.
The course covers the principles of health and safety law, hazard identification and common control measures (with particular focus on work at height, working near overhead power lines, working around mobile plant and vehicles, chainsaws, manual handling, fire and electricity). The course also covers appropriate reporting of accidents and near misses, safety signage and the impacts that children and the public may have on safety on site.
