This is a three day course, with additional test day. It is registered with NPTC City & Guilds, and is commonly referred to as CS39.
The course covers:
- legislative and safety requirements
- tree conditions
- tools and equipment as well as pruning techniques
- pruning from a rope and harness.
Please note that you must hold CS30, CS31 and CS38 in order to do this qualification, and will be asked to provide certificates when you book. For a full explanation of related courses, please see Chainsaw Training.
You will need a top handled chainsaw and climbing equipment for this course, which can be hired from us if necessary. Click here for a full kit list. Equipment needs either a LOLER certificate or proof of purchase within the last 6 months.
The course costs £370 + VAT per person plus NPTC fees of £175 (no VAT).
