Level 3 Award in Aerial Tree Rigging is a four day course, with additional test day. The course is registered with NPTC City & Guilds, and is commonly referred to as CS41.
The course covers the removal of sections from a tree crown under the control of rope rigging and lifting gear, with support from a grounds worker.
Please note that you must hold CS30, CS31, CS38 and CS39 in order to do this qualification. You will be asked to provide certificates when you book.
You will need a top handled chainsaw, climbing equipment and rigging equipment for this course. A full kit list is available here. All equipment will need either a LOLER certificate or proof of purchase within the last 6 months. Equipment hire can be arrange if necessary, click here for details.
The course costs £510 + VAT per person plus NPTC fees of £235 (no VAT).
