Litter Picking & Environmental Maintenance is an online e-learning course, that takes approximately 2.5 hours to complete. The course is designed to help people plan & carry out litter picking and to understand the environments and risks involved. This course is for staff, contractors or volunteers looking to attain a certificate of training in litter picking.
The course covers health and safety, workplace risks, causes and consequences, PPE, manual handling, signage, fire and electricity, COSHH, working at height, handling waste, working in low or poor light, working next to water, litter picking next to road and rial, sharps needles and hazardous waste, biosecurity, injurious and invasive species.
This course can form part of the LISS/CSCS requirements for individuals who want to gain a blue skills card for the Land Based Sector. It is also benchmarked in National Highways Sector Scheme 18. In order to qualify for LISS /CSCS the assessment must be completed under invigilated conditions. Please call us to discuss invigilated options.
On successful completion of the course, a certificate is available to download.
