Rabbit & Mole Control (Trapping Techniques) is a one day attendance course registered with Lantra. It is suitable for those new to trapping rabbits and moles or anyone who wishes to develop their skills further. It may be of particular interest for those in agriculture, horticulture, and sports management where rabbits and moles may pose a nuisance causing damage to crops and turf.
The course covers the identification of rabbits and/or moles and typical symptoms of damaged caused, measuring the degree of infestation and identification of the source. Learners will also covers legal obligations, planning, implementing and monitoring effective control programmes using the most appropriate methods and ensuring the safeguarding of humans and other animals and plants.
