This is a one day Integrated Training and Assessment (ITA) course, registered with Lantra. The course can cover one cutting mechanisms, eg rotary, flail or cylinder.
The course covers the risks associated with the use of mowers, the controls and components of the machine. Learners will also practice daily checks, pre-start checks and fault identification and maintenance. Learners will adjust cutting mechanisms and operate the machine safely, including mowing on slops if required.
