First Aid At Work is a three day first aid course, also known as FAW. It is ideal for those working in large workplaces, or high risk industries, such as building sites, warehouses etc.
The course covers:
- Scene management
- Primary & secondary surveys
- CPR & use of defib
- Causes of unconsciousness (including seizures) and recovery position
- Choking
- Bleeding
- Shock
- Minor injuries (including burns and splinters)
- Head injuries
- Broken bones, including spinal injuries
- Chest injuries (including penetrating wounds)
- Poisons
- Eye injuries
- Major illnesses, including heart attack, stroke, asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis

The cost is £330 + VAT per person, which includes lunch & drinks, workbook, Lantra registration & certificate and use of practice equipment.
All of our First Aid courses are accredited by Lantra. We typically offer Training (with Assessment), but if you prefer the Qualification option, please let us know at the time of booking.
